Lyle has been immersed in the logistics and food distribution industry since the age of 18, bringing over 40 years of hands-on experience in managing deliveries, dispatching, and coordinating drivers. His career has spanned every facet of the trucking industry, and he remains actively involved in operations to ensure the highest standards are met every day. Lyle’s commitment is evident in the hand-picked team he leads, each member selected for their dedication to service excellence, with a shared vision of elevating Frozen Solid as a premier distributor across Western Canada and beyond.

Denise, equally dedicated, has played a pivotal role in Frozen Solid’s growth. Previously the vital link between accounting and customer relations, Denise now oversees the company’s administrative, invoicing, and HR functions., with a keen eye for the professionalism that Frozen Solid upholds. The daily communication between Lyle and Denise has fostered an environment where attention to detail is paramount, creating a level of consistency and efficiency that only a strong family partnership can achieve. Together, they have crafted a company culture that prioritizes integrity, teamwork, and meticulous service.

Our company’s growth has been fueled by a series of strategic expansions designed to meet increasing demand while improving service capabilities. In 2021, as client needs outpaced the capacity of our original Edmonton Distribution Centre, we moved to a new, larger facility in Nisku. This facility has enabled us to streamline operations and enhance our commitment to clients across the region. Early in 2022, it became clear that our Alberta operations needed an even larger headquarters to serve as the central hub, leading to our December 2022 relocation to a newly renovated, facility in NE Calgary. Spanning 23,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art distribution center includes a temperature-controlled loading dock, as well as dedicated cooler, freezer, and dry storage areas. This facility also boasts triple the office space, accommodating our expanding team of professionals.

In June 2022, we seized an exciting opportunity to acquire Pokolm Trucking, which allowed us to further extend our Alberta coverage. With this acquisition, we established a satellite warehouse in Lethbridge, strengthening our reach and enabling us to better serve clients in Southern Alberta. Today, Frozen Solid proudly operates with a dedicated team of drivers and a robust fleet that includes 5-ton trucks, tractors, and trailers. With three strategically located distribution centers across Alberta, we offer a range of services, including cross-docking, cold storage, freezer storage, and dry storage solutions tailored to our clients’ diverse needs.
