At the heart of Frozen Solid continues to be Lyle and Denise Edwards. Lyle has been involved in the logistics and supply chain management of food distribution since he was 18 years old. He has personally managed deliveries, dispatching and drivers for the last 35 years to remain active in all aspects of the trucking industry. Now he is committed in leading his hand-picked team of professionals to bring to life his vision of how Frozen Solid can excel in food distribution across western Canada and beyond.

In the past, Denise has provided the critical role of an accounting liaison to Lyle and the customers. Now she oversees the team in administration, invoicing and HR for Frozen Solid, ensuring that efficient and effective financial services are always prioritized. Daily communication between Lyle and Denise has created an exact attention to detail in all areas that only a strong family partnership can consistently offer.

During the summer of 2021, Frozen Solid outgrew its existing Distribution Centre in Edmonton, and moved into a brand-new facility in Nisku.

In early 2022, it was also clear that a larger DC in Calgary was needed as a headquarters for Alberta, and so an exciting move to NE Calgary was completed in December 2022. The newly renovated CFIA approved 23 000 sq ft facility offers a temperature-controlled loading dock, cooler, freezer and dry storage areas as well as triple the office space for the expanding team.

Finally, an exciting opportunity to purchase Pokolm Trucking came to fruition in June 2022 and so Frozen Solid expanded its Alberta coverage to include a satellite warehouse in the southern city of Lethbridge.

Together the Edwards' have proudly built their business to include a team of dedicated drivers, a fleet of 5ton trucks, tractors and trailers and now three Alberta distribution centers to offer cross-docking, cold, freezer and dry storage.
